PyroVantage is a naturally derived biostimulant produced from refined wood extract (pyroligneous acid), rich in organic acids and complex natural compounds that support soil biology, nutrient dynamics and plant response.

When integrated into turf programmes, PyroVantage helps create a more active biological environment, supporting root function, nutrient availability and chlorophyll activity to promote consistent turf vigour and resilience under variable conditions.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports beneficial microbial activity and biological balance

  • Enhances nutrient availability, particularly phosphorus and sulphur dynamics

  • Encourages stronger, more active rooting

  • Promotes chlorophyll activity and photosynthetic efficiency

  • Supports soil structure, aeration and moisture interaction

  • Aids turf resilience under environmental and seasonal stress

  • Compatible with integrated biological programmes and tank mixes

Rather than acting as a fertiliser input, PyroVantage works through the soil-plant system - encouraging beneficial microbial activity, supporting nutrient cycling and promoting efficient physiological response within the turf canopy.

Typical Programme Use

PyroVantage can be applied as a foliar spray or biological drench and integrates effectively with complementary Soil Biology inputs including microbial, seaweed and oxygenating technologies.

Particularly suited to programme stages focused on root development, soil activation and seasonal recovery support, helping maintain consistent turf performance throughout the growing season.

Technical Overview

Form: Liquid concentrate
pH: 2.5

Derived from refined pyroligneous extract produced through controlled wood carbonisation and purification. As a naturally derived product, colour and composition may vary slightly between batches.

Active components (typical)

Component Description
Organic acids Including acetic, formic and propionic acids
Phenolic compounds Naturally occurring wood-derived phenolics
Carbon-based compounds Including alcohols, ketones and aldehydes

Application Guide

PyroVantage can be applied as a foliar spray or biological drench within routine turf management programmes.

Foliar application
Apply at 1–1.5 L/ha in approximately 300 L water.
Apply to dry leaf surfaces under suitable conditions, ideally during early morning or cooler periods.

Biological drench
Apply at 1.5–2 L/ha in approximately 600 L water.
Apply to moist surfaces and follow with rainfall or irrigation where possible to assist movement into the soil profile.

Suitable for use within integrated turf management programmes.
