BioCarb 3.0.12 – Foliar Nutrition & Turf Resilience

Efficient nitrogen and potassium nutrition, with added biostimulants to support healthy turf growth, root development and natural resilience.

BioCarb 3.0.12 is a mildly acidic liquid foliar fertiliser developed for professional amenity turf. Combining 3% amide nitrogen and 12% potassium with stabilised plant extracts, triacontanol and a carbohydrate source, it supports efficient plant nutrition, healthy growth and biological activity within the rootzone.

Its foliar application allows nitrogen to be taken up directly through the leaf, providing an additional route for nutrition when conditions limit nutrient uptake through the roots.

The combination of potassium, plant extracts and biostimulants makes BioCarb a useful component of turf nutrition programmes focused on maintaining plant health and resilience.

Key Benefits

  • Efficient foliar nutrition – Supplies amide nitrogen for uptake through the leaf, particularly useful when soil conditions restrict root activity.

  • Supports plant resilience – Potassium plays an important role in water regulation, plant cell function and tolerance to environmental stress.

  • Encourages healthy plant development – Stabilised plant extracts and triacontanol support photosynthetic activity and root and shoot growth.

  • Supports beneficial soil biology – A carbohydrate source helps encourage microbial activity within the rootzone.

  • Mildly acidic formulation – With a pH of approximately 5.5, BioCarb can be incorporated into professional foliar nutrition programmes.

Supporting Turf Throughout the Growing Cycle

Maintaining healthy turf requires a balance between nutrient availability, plant growth and the demands placed on the playing surface.

BioCarb 3.0.12 can be incorporated into tailored foliar feeding programmes where efficient nitrogen delivery, potassium nutrition and plant resilience are priorities.

It is particularly useful during early-season growth and autumn treatments, when lower soil temperatures can limit root nutrient uptake. Its nutritional and biostimulant properties can also support wider turf management objectives according to plant requirements and growing conditions.

Application Guidelines

Initial application: 40 litres per hectare in 200–300 litres of water.

Subsequent applications: 30–40 litres per hectare in 200–300 litres of water.

BioCarb 3.0.12 is compatible with most fungicides and organic and inorganic fertilisers. Contact your Soil Biology technical adviser for guidance on tank mixing and incorporating the product into your existing programme.
