The SpotOn Turf Moisture Meter provides quick, continuous measurements of volumetric water content (VWC), electrical conductivity (EC) and soil surface temperature, giving an immediate picture of conditions across greens, tees, sports pitches and other managed turf surfaces.

Rather than relying on visual assessment or fixed irrigation schedules alone, regular measurement can help identify variations across a site, establish appropriate moisture ranges and improve consistency.

Every soil behaves differently. Sand-based constructions, native soils and different rootzones can hold and drain water very differently.

By establishing baseline readings for individual areas, the meter helps turf managers understand local moisture conditions and track changes between irrigation or rainfall events. This provides objective information to help apply water where and when it is needed, making better use of an important resource while supporting consistent turf quality.

Soil moisture (VWC) – Measures volumetric water content from 0–100%.

Electrical conductivity (EC) – Measures EC from 0–5.00 mS/cm.

Soil surface temperature – Measures temperatures from -9°C to 49°C.
